I started reading initially, as a kid to sound impressive. But very soon I became impressed and this innocent hobby turned into a lifetime obsession.
It's raining books and much as I would love to, I can't read every book that comes out in print. I am sure most of my fellow book lovers would share the same feeling. But still I never relented in the search for good books, badgering friends constantly for books they were reading, relying on gut feel to pick up a book, and so on.

That is when the idea of creating my own site dedicated to books occurred to me. Through this website, I want to promote the love that I feel for books and hope my readers start reading more.
Reading is very much akin to cooking, although I realised this only over the years. You have all these raw materials, some spices, some vegetables, and then you blend it all together and it is like magic. You have the most interesting dish before you. Even with books, first you have some vague ideas, then some interesting words, and some routine words and before you realise it you have been transposed to this magical world. You cut loose your imagination and a whole new world is revealed to you.
